Rich Maroko’s total compensation package in 2024, the most recent year available, was $923,053. He received a base compensation of $313,386 from the Hotel and Gaming Trades Council (HTC) and $229,559 from other organizations, as well as $380,108 in other compensation (such as retirement benefits).

That same year, room attendants unionized with the HTC made $38.87 per hour. Without factoring in his generous benefits and other compensation, “Richie” Rich made over $261 an hour that year – 570 percent more than the workers he represents.

Between 2020-2024, Maroko’s total compensation rose by a whopping 45 percent. Meanwhile, HTC membership only grew by 16 percent.

“Richie” Rich’s Total Compensation Over Time

Even under the new contract that kicks in July 2026, Maroko will still make 500 percent more per hour than his hotel workers. And that’s only compared to his 2024 compensation. Considering that his compensation has risen by about ten percent each year, it’s fair to say he’s seen even more money in his paycheck since 2024.
